Citations and Appeals

To pay for a violation notice or citation

All violation payments can be made at the BYUH cashier's office, Mon.-Fri. from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for payments in cash, check or debit or credit card. Payments must be accompanied by violation notice.

To appeal a violation notice or citation

All appeals must be made within 14 calendar days from the date of issuance with the Security office. Failure to appeal in 14 days shall be deemed as a waiver of rights to do so and the fines must be paid in full.

An appeal form is available at the Security office or you may download the form below. The form must be completed and turned into the Security office within 14 days. A copy of the violation notice or citation must accompany the appeal application.

An appointment will be set up with an adjudicator where your appeal will be reviewed. After your appeal has been reviewed, the adjudicator will notify you and Security of the decision. The process will take about one-two weeks.
