Updating Emergency Contacts

Please update your emergency information through the Student Center.

Emergency Contact

  1. Log in to myBYUH.
  2. Hover over the "School" quick link, and click "Student Center."
  3. Under "Personal Information," select "Emergency Contact."
  4. Click "Add an Emergency Contact."
  5. Enter a contact name, relationship, phone number, and then click SAVE.

Campus Alert

  1. Log in to myBYUH.
  2. Hover over the "School" quick link, and click "Student Center."
  3. Under "Personal Information," select "Phone Numbers."
  4. Click "Add a Phone Number."
  5. Under the "Phone Type" dropdown box, select "Campus Alert."
  6. Enter your mobile phone number and click SAVE.

Missing Person Contact

  1. Log in to myBYUH.
  2. Hover over the "School" quick link, and click "Student Center."
  3. Under "Personal Information," select "Phone Numbers."
  4. Click "Add a Phone Number."
  5. Under the "Phone Type" dropdown box, select "Missing Person Contact."
  6. Enter your mobile phone number and click SAVE.

If a student is missing for 24 hours without explanation, the university will notify the emergency contact.
